*Kevin Ford, a Las Vegas resident who went viral in 2022 for his 27-year perfect attendance record at Burger King, gained widespread support after receiving a goodie bag from the company.
Following a successful GoFundMe campaign started by his daughter, Ford was able to purchase a house and recently announced his next big venture: starting his own food truck business, The Blast reports.
In a message to his supporters on the fundraising page, Ford wrote: “UPDATE!!! HELLO EVERYONE!!! It’s Been a While, I Miss Yawl!!! But, I Wanted YOU to Be the First Know What YOU Made Possible for Me To Be Able To Do for My Family!!! Thanks to Your LOVE, KINDNESS and GENEROSITY I Was Able to Go “All In” On This Wonderful Adventurous New Chapter of My Life!!! A FOOD TRUCK!!!”
He added, “YOU Did This!!! Remember, We Doin’ BIG THINGS!!! I Want to THANK YOU for Your Continued Love and Support, for You Have Truly Saved Me and Continue to Change My Life and The Lives of My Children and Grandchildren For the Better Everyday!!!”
In 2022, Ford was acknowledged by Burger King for 27 years of perfect attendance, but the video of his celebration went viral for an unexpected reason. Instead of a grand gesture, he received a bag of candy, a movie ticket, a lanyard, a Starbucks cup, two pens, and keychains in recognition of his service.

As EUR’s Willy Mwanza Mwanza reported earlier, millions of viewers felt Burger King fell short of making the celebration special enough for Ford, but they were still impressed by his humble attitude.
Once Ford gained national attention for his humility, his daughter took advantage of that and started a GoFundMe campaign.
