*Jack Ryan is back, and this time the stakes are higher than ever. Prime Video has released the official teaser for “Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan: Ghost War,” a feature film that picks up where the beloved four-season series left off, pulling John Krasinski’s iconic character back into the dangerous world of espionage for his most personal mission yet.
Per the news release, the film centers on Ryan being reluctantly drawn back into action after an international covert operation unravels a deadly conspiracy. With a rogue black-ops unit in his crosshairs and the clock ticking in real time, Ryan must rely on the people who know him best to survive. Returning to his side are Michael Kelly as battle-tested CIA operative Mike November and Wendell Pierce as former CIA boss James Greer, their combined experience serving as the team’s greatest advantage against an enemy that always seems to be one step ahead.
Sienna Miller joins the cast, stepping into the role of MI6 officer Emma Marlowe, a razor-sharp operative who proves to be every bit Ryan’s equal, forming what promises to be an formidable partnership at the heart of the film. The cast also includes Max Beesley, JJ Feild, Douglas Hodge, and Betty Gabriel.
Andrew Bernstein directs from a screenplay by Aaron Rabin and John Krasinski, based on a story by Noah Oppenheim and Krasinski. The project is produced by Allyson Seeger, Krasinski, and Andrew Form, with Carlton Cuse, Tom Clancy, John J. Kelly, and Alexa Ginsburg serving as executive producers. The film is based on characters originally created by Tom Clancy.
