The four-blend lineup, developed with Food Network’s “BBQ Brawl” Season 5 winner chef Erica Barrett, arrives just in time for Thanksgiving and was crafted over several years. The brand’s website highlights Mann’s goal for the project, stating, “From my kitchen to your home, I’ve crafted my new spice blends with loving care… Thank you for inviting Mama Mann’s Kitchen into your home.”
The series includes For Everything Seasoning, Garlic Mix, All Things Blackened, and Just For Pie, each designed to add depth to a wide range of dishes. As Essence reports, Mann described the collection as essential to her daily cooking, saying, “These are my staples… these seasonings are the ones I reach for time after time.” She noted that the For Everything blend works across meats, fish, vegetables, dips, and spreads, while Garlic Mix stands as her personal favorite. All Things Blackened offers a bolder flavor, and Just For Pie extends well beyond desserts.

Sharing how she uses the blends at home, Mann said, “I make baked yams with the Just for Pie seasoning. I even put it in my coffee. It works for several things besides desserts.” She embraces experimentation in the kitchen and said her approach comes naturally. “I like to try things… It’s a quick avenue to having a good meal, and that’s what Mama Mann’s Kitchen is about. It’s to get people back in the kitchen to enjoy cooking,” she explained.
Mann hopes the seasonings make meal preparation less daunting for busy families. She encourages planning ahead, saying, “If you prep… I promise you, it’ll be much more enjoyable when you get around to fixing it.” She also shared a practical reminder for home cooks: “You can’t be in a rush. You have to be attentive.”
Cooking has long been a way for Mann to connect with her loved ones, and she hopes her blends help others build similar traditions. “It’s so good to have that connection where you separate from everything else and you come together as a unit,” she said. “And that’s what Mama Mann’s kitchen is about.”
