*Rapper Pooh Sheisty is back behind bars, so soon after he was released just 3 months ago. Pooh is held in Dallas, Texas. Born Lontrell Dennell Williams Jr, the aspiring rapper was released from a federal prison in October. He served 3 years for conspiracy to possess a firearm in furtherance of violent and drug-trafficking crimes.
It was an early release, for the 26-year-old Memphis native still had 2 more years away from freedom. The moment he stepped outside, the rapper started to flirt with Cardi B.
“I love you,” he wrote on one of her Instagram posts. Indeed, he also had tried to shout at Cardi B from behind the prison walls. However, she ignored him.
Now he is back in federal custody, seated like he never left, and nobody seems to know what new crime he might have committed during the short break he was free. The earliest he could be released is April 2027.

His fans couldn’t believe it. Many took to X to show solidarity with the rapper, who was initially independent before signing with Gucci Mane’s 1017 record label in April 2020. He had first been arrested in 2021 after he dropped stacks of cash at the scene of a shooting outside a Miami strip club in 2020.
The police, having monitored his Instagram page and seen him flashing money in a video, zoomed in on the money and realized the serial numbers matched those on the cash he dropped outside the club.
He pleaded guilty in January 2022 to the October 2020 shooting incident. He was faced with the certainty of living the rest of his life in jail, but he accepted a plea deal for 5 years behind bars.
