*In a passionate tirade, former NFL cornerback Pacman Jones has had enough of the public’s scrutiny regarding college football star Travis Hunter’s relationship with fiancée Leanna Lenee.
During a recent “Pacman Jones Show” episode, he directly called out ex-Cowboys star Dez Bryant for his unsolicited opinions, advising him to “shut the f*** up” about the couple’s private matters.
Jones, now 41, expressed his frustration over Bryant’s comments and highlighted that no one truly knows what happens in Hunter and Lenee’s relationship, TMZ Sports reports.
“I don’t understand how somebody else have advice about what the f*** he like. This is what he like! Y’all don’t know what this lady is doing to him behind closed doors. Y’all don’t know how she pleases him. Obviously, he’s pleased!”
His remarks come in the wake of Hunter and Lenee becoming viral sensations, with mixed reactions from fans and critics alike. Concerned over how Lenee interacted with the young athlete at various public events, Bryant took to social media to suggest that Hunter consider finding a new partner. This drew the ire of Jones, who believes that public criticism of athletes’ relationships is unwarranted.

Jones further lamented, “I’ve never seen grown f***ing athletes that goes to Twitter and talks about another player relationship,” emphasizing the absurdity of professional athletes getting embroiled in such personal affairs. The sentiment resonated with fellow NFL figures, including former Eagles running back LeSean McCoy, who remarked in support of Jones, suggesting that those criticizing the couple “must not have nothing else to do.”
Chiefs wideout DeAndre Hopkins also showed solidarity with Jones, acknowledging the veteran’s stance on the matter. Meanwhile, Bryant reacted to the whole situation with a sharp jab at Jones’ credibility, suggesting he should not be the one giving advice.
As the controversy continues, Travis Hunter has deactivated his Instagram account, likely seeking refuge from the ongoing criticism directed at his relationship. In a world where personal lives are often scrutinized, Jones stands firm in his belief that athletes deserve privacy and respect when it comes to their relationships.
