*Olipop is once again making waves in the soda aisle, and this time the brand’s newest flavor is a tropical nod to one of TV’s most beloved animated icons.
The California-based company, known for its prebiotic, low-sugar takes on classic sodas, has introduced Pineapple Paradise, AllRecipes reports. The drink blends pineapple and mandarin orange for a sweet, citrus-forward taste. But what’s on the outside of the can is just as buzzworthy as what’s inside, it features SpongeBob SquarePants, the famous cartoon resident of a pineapple under the sea.
Fans will find the bright yellow cans in five collectible designs, each with a different SpongeBob expression. The release sparked immediate excitement online, especially among collectors and nostalgic ‘90s kids. “I genuinely would keep this can forever,” one Instagram user commented.
Another fan declared, “My new obsession!!” while one enthusiast said, “Give me 10 of ’em.” The hype even reached the official SpongeBob Instagram account, which wrote, “need this at the Krusty Krab ASAP.”
Pineapple Paradise is available now for a limited time at Walmart, Target, Whole Foods Market, and Sprouts. Shoppers can also grab 12-packs on Amazon or single cans at Circle K.
