*Naomi Osaka hit up social media to reveal that she is no longer in a relationship with rapper Cordae.
The 27-year-old shared the news on her Instagram story on Monday … saying: “Hi everyone, just wanted to say that Cordae and I are no longer in a relationship. No bad blood at all, he’s a great person and an awesome dad. Honestly really glad our paths crossed because my daughter is my biggest blessing and I was able to grow a lot from our experiences together,” the four-time Grand Slam singles winner explained. The two will continue to co-parent their daughter Shai, who was born in 2023.
“Imagine raising a daughter to be a world champion athlete, spending thousands on private coaching etc just for her to end up a baby mama to a rapper,” one critic wrote on X in response to the breakup news.
Osaka and Cordae began dating in 2019 and four years later in 2023, Naomi sparked rumors that she and Cordae called it quits shortly after welcoming their first child. “I just want someone that will watch the sunset with me,” the tennis star tweeted at the time, Page Six reported.
Osaka later wrote on Twitter, “The art of loving yourself.” She also liked a tweet about “walking away from those that didn’t value you.”
