*Apple TV has unveiled the trailer for season two of “Monarch: Legacy of Monsters,” offering the first look at the next chapter of its Monsterverse series.
The footage debuted during Apple TV Press Day, where members of the cast appeared to preview what lies ahead in the global hit drama from Legendary Television. Check out the clip above.
Per the news release, the second season will consist of 10 episodes and premiere worldwide on Friday, February 27, 2026. The debut episode will be followed by weekly releases every Friday through May 1, continuing Apple TV’s staggered rollout strategy. Returning cast members include Kurt Russell, Wyatt Russell, Anna Sawai, Kiersey Clemons, Ren Watabe, Mari Yamamoto, Joe Tippett, and Anders Holm.
Season one followed two siblings as they attempted to unravel their family’s ties to Monarch, the secretive organization operating in the shadows of a monster-filled world. Their investigation led them across multiple timelines and into the orbit of Colonel Lee Shaw, whose past and present knowledge placed Monarch in increasing danger.

The new season raises the stakes significantly, with the future of both Monarch and the world hanging in the balance. The story brings familiar characters back together on Kong’s Skull Island and introduces a mysterious new village tied to ancient forces. As past events begin to collide with the present, relationships fracture and alliances shift under the looming threat of another catastrophic titan event.
Season two will feature the return of fan-favorite Titans Kong and Godzilla, while also introducing a powerful new creature known as Titan X. Described as an ancient and volatile force emerging from the ocean, Titan X becomes central to the unfolding mystery. New guest stars joining the cast include Takehiro Hira, Amber Midthunder, Curtiss Cook, Cliff Curtis, Dominique Tipper, and Camilo Jiménez Varón.
Produced by Legendary Television, the series continues to expand the Monsterverse on Apple TV, which has committed to additional spinoffs and interconnected stories. The first season of “Monarch: Legacy of Monsters” is currently available to stream globally on Apple TV.
