*After spreading false rumors about Tito Jackson’s death, comedian Luenell apologized for her mistake.
“The next time I will absolutely verify my sources, but this is where I got that ugly roomer from in the first place,” she wrote in a post on Instagram, Ice Cream Convos reports.
“I love Tito and all the Jackson‘s and I’m very sorry for my premature condolence post earlier.”
She added, “I didn’t make it up. I read it. #FAKENews.”
Lunelle’s apology came after she posted a photo of Tito and his sons along with the caption: “RIP @poppa3T Tito Jackson ???????? prayers going out to the entire Jackson clan today.”

Many people were stunned by the post, with “Abbott Elementary” star Sheryl Lee Ralph writing, “Wait!!! What?!?!!! ????”
“WHY DID YOU JUST POST TITO JACKSON DIED WHICH WAS FALSE, not cool,” one Instagram user wrote under a photo of Lunelle on her IG page.
As Ice Cream Convos reports, Tito Jackson’s manager ultimately chimed in to confirm: “Tito’s alive and kicking and currently home working on a new Jacksons’ album.”
According to Ice Cream Convos, this isn’t the first time Lunelle has shared false information with her one million social media followers. Back in 2015, she congratulated rapper Trina on her pregnancy — but she wasn’t expecting at the time.
She wrote: “Let me take this opportunity 2 Bow Down and DEEPLY apologize for falsely congratulating u on my erroneous post about ur NON-Pregnancy.”
Lunelle added, “While I was complimenting you on how Smoking Hot you looked, I have obviously mis-heard and or mis-understood and jumped the gun.”
