*An all-new episode of WE tv’s groundbreaking docuseries “Love After Lockup” returns Friday, and if you haven’t seen the show, it follows couples as they share the emotional journey of being united for the first time after years of supervised visits.
This week viewers meet Brittany and Marcelino, who find themselves clashing over their future together.
“In prison, you live day by day. You can’t necessarily plan too far ahead because you’ll be disappointed very quickly. But I do want her to at least be able to tell me what she wants for our future,” Marcelino says in our exclusive clip above.
Brittany doesn’t want to set expectations for the future with Marcelino but he has other ideas.

“Let’s say in five years, between you and me, where should we be?” he asks Brittany in the clip.
“Where should we be? Is that the way you want to phrase that question?” she replies. “I don’t like to say that we should or shouldn’t do anything because that puts expectations on things Because expectations lead to disappointments,” she says.
Adding: “I really just don’t feel like we should or shouldn’t be anywhere in the next five years.”
But Marcelino fires back with: “I don’t agree with that.”
The conversation heats up to the point where Brittany finally says… “I’m not having a good time anymore.”
