*A Georgia judge has ruled that “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Kim Zolciak must complete four parent therapy sessions before she can be reunited with her children. Court documents obtained by TMZ show the children are currently in ex-husband Kroy Biermann’s care, with April 13 serving as the earliest possible date for Zolciak to resume time with them.
The ruling comes after Biermann took legal action last week, filing for sole custody of the four minor children he shares with Zolciak. The former NFL player contends that the existing joint custody arrangement has broken down and no longer reflects what is best for the kids, pointing to what he describes as Kim’s inconsistent involvement in their daily lives.
Among the most pointed allegations in Biermann’s filing is the claim that Zolciak left the country and was gone from February 26 through March 29, making only a single overnight stop to see the children during that entire stretch. He did not hold back in his characterization of her parenting, stating that the facts surrounding “her misguided parenting of the children, lack thereof, and blatant mismanagement of basic parenting responsibilities would be practically unbelievable to anyone not familiar with the circumstances.”

Biermann further alleged that Zolciak engaged in “fraud and deceit” when the temporary custody terms were originally established, and that she has consistently fallen short of her agreed-upon parenting duties, including failing to follow through on therapy plans for the children. He is pushing the court to shift primary custody to him without delay.
Zolciak denied the claims directly. “These accusations are completely false and nothing more than a deliberate attempt by Kroy to defame my character. I spent five weeks away working on two TV shows to support my family and make sure my children are cared for — something I will never apologize for,” she told TMZ.
She continued, “I refuse to be bullied or have lies twisted into a narrative about who I am. I will not stay silent, the truth is on my side, and it will come to light — no matter how hard anyone tries to bury it.”
The two separated in 2024 and have been navigating a contentious legal battle ever since.
