*Whoa! This situation is straight out of a Hollywood action/thriller movie, but it’s a real-life event. A semi-truck driver found himself in a dangerous scenario on a Kentucky bridge, teetering on the edge of disaster.
The truck cabin and part of its trailer were hanging over the Ohio River after a collision on the Clark Memorial Bridge. Louisville emergency crews swiftly acted, risking their own lives to rescue the driver, according to WSAZ-TV.
The dramatic rescue involved a crew member rappelling off the side of the bridge like a superhero. The driver was successfully removed from the vehicle and brought to safety on the bridge by 12:45 PM.
Fortunately, no one else was injured in the incident, and the bridge is now closed as authorities complete the rescue operation and clean up the scene.
