KC Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes is Now An Owner of the KC Royals

*24-year-old Kansas City Chiefs star Patrick Mahomes has just become the youngest owner in sports after taking a minority stake in the MLB’s Kansas City Royals team.

The Royals officially announced on Tuesday that the Chiefs quarterback has become the newest member of the ownership group. The move arrives after Mahomes, who grew up playing football and baseball, led his team to victory at Super Bowl LIV, spawning a new 10-year contract extension, valued at $503 million.
