*OK, wait a minute. Wasn’t it only a bit more than a nanosecond that Apple bought the Beats headphone company founded by Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine?
Well get a load of this, Apple has now revealed plans to change things up a bit. The company plans to get rid of the headphones with the old headphone socket and use the “Lightning socket” that’s normally used for charging and adding accessories on your iPhone/iPad/iPod in its place.
What does all of this mean for you, Mr. and Ms. consumer?
It means dig into your pockets to purchase a new set of Beats headphones that now have the new connector.
