*Davante Adams has been traded from the Las Vegas Raiders to the New York Jets, reuniting him with his former Green Bay Packers quarterback, Aaron Rodgers. The Jets sent a conditional third-round pick to the Raiders in return.
Adams, who joined the Raiders in 2022, had a successful first season with them but has expressed interest in leaving Las Vegas. Per NBC New York, he has 18 catches for 209 yards and a touchdown so far in 2024, though he’s missed the last three games due to injury. The Jets are hoping this move can spark a turnaround after a rough stretch of games.
In 2023, Adams told ESPN he “didn’t really have any expectations” upon joining the Raiders.
“But it’s not what I wanted, for sure,” Adams said. “Obviously, I wanted to come here and have a big impact, continue to play at a high level and win games. And a lot of those things have happened — just not the winning part.”

“It’s a gamble sometimes. You never really know,” Adams added.
Meanwhile, USA Today reports that Rodgers and Adams connected on a red zone touchdown pass during team drills in practice this week. Check out the play below:
