*Apple officially revealed the iPhone 17 series during its “Awe Dropping” event yesterday (09-09-25). The lineup includes four models: iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max.
This year’s focus is on thinner builds, better AI with iOS 26, improved cameras, and ProMotion displays across all devices. Pre-orders begin Friday, September 12, with full release on September 19.
iPhone 17 Air Is the Thinnest iPhone Ever Made
The iPhone 17 Air replaces the Plus model and becomes the thinnest iPhone ever at just 5.5mm. It has a sleek, futuristic design with a pill-shaped rear camera and no physical SIM slot.
It sports a 6.6-inch Super Retina XDR display with ProMotion and includes Apple’s A19 Pro chip and 12GB RAM. The 48MP main camera and 18MP front camera are powered by AI for enhanced results.

All iPhone 17 Models Now Feature 120Hz ProMotion Displays
Apple finally brings 120Hz refresh rates to all models, making scrolling and gaming smoother. This was previously limited to Pro models only.
