*Hulu has released the trailer for the new comedy series “How to Die Alone,” starring Natasha Rothwell as Mel, a broke, fat, Black JFK airport employee who’s never been in love and forgotten how to dream, until an accidental brush with death catapults her on a journey to finally take flight and start living by any means necessary.
Rothwell, a former “SNL” writer, leads the cast that includes Conrad Ricamora, Jocko Sims and KeiLyn Durrel Jones.
The recurring guest stars are Bashir Salahuddin, Elle Lorraine, Michelle McLeod, Ellen Cleghorne, Chris “CP” Powell, Arkie Kandola, Jaylee Hamidi, Melissa DuPrey, Michael Hartney, Glenn Fleary and Jackie Richardson.
Rothwell is the co-showrunner and executive producer of the project. This series is part of her deal with ABC Signature and Onyx Collective under her production company, Big Hattie Productions.

The eight-episode series will debut September 13, with the first four episodes released initially, followed by weekly releases for the remaining episodes.
