*An exclusive scene from the upcoming fifth episode of “House of David” Season Two has been released, giving fans an early look at the next chapter of the acclaimed biblical drama.
The eight-episode season, produced by Wonder Project and Amazon MGM Studios, continues its weekly Sunday release schedule, with Episode Five premiering on October 26 for U.S. viewers on the Wonder Project subscription via Prime Video.

Created by filmmakers Jon Erwin and Jon Gunn, the series follows the rise of the biblical David, portrayed by Michael Iskander. The ensemble also includes Ali Suliman, Ayelet Zurer, Stephen Lang, and Indy Lewis, among others, delivering a sweeping narrative of power, faith, and destiny.
The newly released clip features Mychal (Indy Lewis) teaching a writing lesson to her class. She tells them that writing is how we remember what came before us, and maybe one day they will write down such a story. One of the students says she would write the story of David. Watch the moment above. Elsewhere in the episode, the growing threat of the Philistines drives David’s men to seek answers in dark corners. Meanwhile, the conflict between the King and Queen intensifies at the palace.
“House of David” has drawn global attention since its debut, with Season One reaching more than 44 million viewers worldwide and ranking among the top 10 new series premieres in the U.S. The show also secured the #1 spot on Prime Video domestically. In its second season, the story deepens as Israel faces turmoil under Saul’s crumbling reign and David’s rise from shepherd to warrior unfolds amid war, shifting alliances, and personal sacrifice.
