*Singer Farrah Franklin is addressing Terrence Howard’s recent remarks about dating a member of Destiny’s Child.
Howard revealed on the PBD Podcast that he once had the opportunity to date Beyoncé but instead pursued another member of the group.
“You know, I had a chance to date Beyoncé early on,” Howard said. “We had a conversation, you know, and I ended up talking to the other girl inside of, you know, Destiny [’s Child]. The girl with the blue eyes.”

Franklin, one of the original members of the group, clarified that her interactions with Howard were purely friendly. “I’m Farrah with the natural green eyes (not Blue lol), and I can confirm that Terrence and I had a few friendly outings—nothing romantic,” she told PEOPLE.
She also praised Howard’s talent, saying, “We went to the studio a few times, and I will say that Terrence is super talented! I won’t speculate on anything else that was said, and as always, I wish everyone well and remain focused on my own journey.”
Howard did not disclose the name of the woman he dated but referenced Beyoncé when discussing Hollywood power couples. He also recounted a moment from the 2005 BET Awards, when Beyoncé performed a suggestive dance for him during the live performance of “Cater 2 U,” with Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams paired with Nelly and Magic Johnson. He said the sultry serenadewas meant to show him what he “had lost.”
