*After the release of Drake’s latest album, “Some Sexy Songs 4 U,” fans are calling for a country album from the Canadian rapper.
The album, which dropped on Valentine’s Day, blends various genres, including pop and traditional Mexican music, with a notable track, “Die Trying,” offering a country-influenced sound. According to Taste of Country, fans took to social media to urge Drake to explore country music further, drawing comparisons to artists like Beyoncé and Post Malone, both of whom have ventured into the genre with success.
“Drake country album so needed,” one person wrote on X (formerly Twitter).
“‘Die Trying’ is why if Drake makes a country/alternative album I will be 100% tuned in. This is the greatest artist who ever lived and ima stand by that til I’m 6 feet under. I feel blessed to have experienced him in real time since ‘09,” another person tweeted.
“Drake country album would be dope. Die Trying is my favorite on the album,” another fan tweeted.

Meanwhile, we reported earlier that Drake reclaimed the top spot on the charts, surpassing Kendrick Lamar after a long-standing feud.
According to Showbiz 411, his new album, created with PartyNextDoor, hit number 1, along with his solo single “Nokia.” Another track, “Gimme a Hug,” also made it into the top 100. This comes after Kendrick’s historic Super Bowl Halftime performance, and winning two Grammys for his Drake diss track “Not Like Us.”
