*DJ Envy says the internet got the wrong idea about his viral butt-washing confession, but Charlamagne tha God is not letting his co-host rewrite what happened.
Envy addressed the fallout during the July 31 episode of “The Breakfast Club,” days after revealing that his wife, Gia Casey, taught him to wash his backside properly when he was younger.
The subject resurfaced when Envy mentioned Casey would be leaving for a nearly two-week European cruise.
“So, you’re going to be here with a dirty ass for 12 days straight? Easily,” Charlamagne joked.

Envy acknowledged seeing the headlines generated by his original admission and suggested something had been lost in translation.
“You know what? I seen those captions and I was going to explain and but I’m not going [to],” he said.
“You already explained!” Charlamagne fired back. “What you mean ‘explain?’ You’re the reason that people are having that conversation. You always get mad about the things that come out of your mouth.”
Envy denied being upset but maintained that people were taking his comments “out of context.”
That argument went nowhere with Charlamagne.
“What’s out of context?” he asked. “You told us that you did not know how to wash your ass until your wife went in there and did it for you. But now all of a sudden that’s out of context. I ain’t letting you do that to the people.”
Envy’s original story involved Casey cleaning his body while the couple bathed together years ago.
“One day she got all in there, and I’m like ‘Whoa,’” Envy previously recalled. “And then I realized I’m supposed to wash my ass thoroughly and correctly.”
He also joked afterward that his briefs “are not crunchy anymore.”
With Charlamagne unwilling to accept his context defense, Envy eventually abandoned the argument.
“All right. Whatever. Whatever,” he said. “But my ass will be clean for 12 days.”
