*There is an adage that says: Two people can keep a secret if one of them is dead. But these days, not even one person can keep a secret if she used internet searches to plan an (alleged) crime. Cops in Alabama said Carlee Russell‘s internet searches lead them to believe she planned her disappearance.
Now some claim Russell’s lies make it harder for other Black people who legitimately go missing to get the media attention they deserve.
While I agree, Carlee Russell’s (alleged) kidnapping leads to more questions than answers, is it fair to call her the Black ‘Gone Girl?’
