*During his opening monologue on “Saturday Night Live,” Chris Rock expressed frustration over the assassination of the United Healthcare CEO, Kamala Harris’ election loss, and Diddy’s arrest. He also mocked Jennifer Lopez while talking about Trump and criticized Jake Paul’s victory over Mike Tyson, expressing his strong dislike for the YouTuber.
“What the hell? Who was this Jake Paul,” Rock said. “27-year-old punching a 60-year-old man in the face. Is this what the white man has reduced himself to? Stop it. Who’s he gonna fight next? Morgan Freeman? I hate Jake Paul. I got landlord hate for him. I hate him. I hate him like cocaine hates monogamy.”
Paul defeated Tyson in a boxing match at AT&T Stadium in Dallas last month. The fight, which lasted all eight 2-minute rounds, ended with Paul winning by unanimous decision.
Elsewhere in his monologue, Rock addressed America’s current obsession with Luigi Mangione, the man accused of killing UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson.
“I really feel sorry for the family,” Rock said in the clip below. “I mean everybody’s fixated on how good looking this guy looks. If he looked like Jonah Hill, nobody would care. They would have already given him the chair and he’d be dead.”
Later in his monologue, Rock touched on President-elect Donald Trump‘s deportation plans. He joked that Jennifer Lopez is “gonna marry Ben Affleck again just so she can stay in the country.”
Chris said, “Trump is not playing man. This time is different. He’s working with the number one African-American in the world. The richest African-American in the world, Elon Musk. That’s right. He is African-American.”
“Elon’s got more kids than the Cleveland Browns. Nobody knows how to get rid of people like a South African. He’s serious, Trump is not playing…JLo’s gonna marry Ben again just so she can stay in the country. I know she’s not Mexican, but Trump don’t know that. It’s a big old Latin stew,” he added.
