*Music power couple Beyoncé and Jay-Z are reportedly scouting for a property in the UK, particularly in the idyllic Cotswolds, as they consider establishing a temporary home base outside the U.S.
As Rolling Out reports, the move reflects a broader trend among celebrities seeking retreats abroad, especially in light of recurring California wildfires.
“The wildfires have given them a good reason to look outside of Los Angeles to build new bases,” a source shared with the Daily Mail. While Los Angeles remains their main residence, the UK has piqued their interest, especially due to its countryside charm.
“Beyoncé loves the UK because they support everything she does,” the insider added.
The family, including daughter Blue Ivy and twins Sir and Rumi, is reportedly considering short-term stays in the region while Beyoncé tours Europe this summer. The goal is to create a sense of routine and comfort for their children during travel.

“Beyoncé wants touring to feel as normal as possible for the kids which is why hotels aren’t ideal,” said the source.
The couple is said to have their eyes on two potential properties: the upscale Daylesford estate and the historic Blenheim Palace. Both offer privacy, expansive grounds, and the luxury amenities they’re accustomed to.
“They are focused on the Cotswolds now because of the land and space,” the source said. “They’ve stayed there. They’ve been looking for properties and will buy if they find somewhere that feels like home, but are looking at short-term agreements while they make their decision.”
Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter Tour kicks off April 28 in Inglewood, California, and wraps up in Nevada on July 26. The European leg includes six shows in London and three in Paris.
