*For mail carriers struggling with dogs when delivering mail through rain, sleet, or snow, Ari B has a message for dog owners on your behalf.
A fellow postal carrier, Ari has put the grievances of her brothers and sisters in the mail into a reworking of Aaliyah’s classic hit “Are You That Somebody.” Although the beat remains, Ari rewrote the lyrics to the tune to highlight her views on people allowing their dogs to roam free unleashed, Upworthy reports.
Taking note of the dog issue, the outlet alluded to days where loose dogs have interfered with deliveries. So much so that carriers have pepper spray on them to defend themselves from unfriendly canines.
In her TikTok video, Ari captured singing her song in uniform while inside her mail truck.
“Your dog, it ain’t on the leash so you ain’t getting mail from me why you think that’s cool? Then you telling me he don’t bite while he drooling at the mouth like he wanna eat me.” Ari sings at the start as she communicates to the owner to take the dog inside because if the dog tries to attack her then she’s going to spray the dog.

The song’s revamped hook hammers Ari’s point in, with her communicating, “If I let this go, I’m spraying this whole bottle, I said this whole bottle. You need to be more responsible, plus I can’t run that fast if he bite me I’m a sue your a**.”
Since its release, social media has embraced its message and Ari’s voice, which is on full display. Suggestions of the tune being the official mail carrier followed as well as those voicing appreciation for Ari’s vocals and wishes for their mail carrier to be as talented vocally as the musically talented carrier.
“Yeah imma have a little chit-chat with my mail lady because she not coming with these vocals when dropping off these bills lol,” a user joked, while another posted, .”I’ve watched this too many times I know the rhythm and cadence singing it like it’s an actual song girl.”
