And Barbie has taken notice, with a one-of-a-kind Role Model doll created in the “A Woman’s Worth” vocalist’s likeness.
Hot 97 reports the Mattel fashion dollmaker brand unveiled the Alicia Keys Barbie doll on social media as part of its 2025 Career of the Year and Role Model Dolls collection. The effort celebrates women shaping the music industry.
With the doll, Barbie honors Keys for her musical success, legacy of artistic innovation, resilience and creativity, not to mention the power of representation.
In addition to Keys, her four-time Grammy award-winning recording and mix engineer, Ann Mincieli will receive a Barbie doll made in her likeness. Taking to Instagram, Barbie shined a light on the pair’s work with their nonprofit organization She Is The Music. The organization works to “increase the number of women working in music – songwriters, engineers, producers, artists and industry professionals – and to develop the next generation of women in music.”

As part of the celebration, the Alicia Keys and Ann Mincieli Barbies were recently auctioned off by Bidding for Good, with proceeds benefiting She Is The Music.
Keys and Mincieli are among the women acknowledged with the 2025 collection, which highlights the musical artist and a tour manager.
Overall, Barbie is looking to inspire future generations to dream big and redefine possibilities in the music industry and beyond with recognizing Keys.
Commenting on the recognition to its honorees, Barbie senior vice president and Mattel global head of dolls Krista Berger, emphasized the importance of the occasion while noting the importance of shining a light on the many behind-the-scenes professionals who remain overlooked as well as performers.
News surrounding the Alicia Keys Role Model Barbie comes amid this year’s celebration of National Barbie Day on March 9 as well as National Women’s History Month during March.
The honor from Barbie, puts Keys with Aaliyah, who was honored in 2024 by the brand for her artistry and lasting cultural impact via a Music Collector Series Barbie doll.
