*Tech expert Thiago Derminio shared practical tips to extend iPhone battery life, impressing Apple users with his advice.
According to the New York Post, key recommendations include disabling unnecessary settings like background tasks under “Siri and Search,” turning on “reduce motion” in the accessibility menu, and switching off “background app refresh.” These changes reduce battery consumption from tasks running in the background.
Additional tips from other sources suggest enabling “reduce white point” for a dimmer display, turning off location services, limiting push notifications, and deactivating Siri’s active listening. Per Gotechtor, to adjust this setting, follow these steps:
- Go to Settings
- Tap Accessibility
- Then, select Display & Text Size
- Scroll down to find the “Reduce White Point” option. Toggle it on and use the slider to adjust the brightness to your comfort level.
Apple also advises using auto-brightness, low power mode, and WiFi to conserve power. Users can monitor battery efficiency and app usage in the settings menu. Learn more in the IG clip below.
