*MC Lyte shared a photo of her new man on social media, and the move comes a year after she finalized her divorce from ex-husband John Wyche.
According to The Jasmine Brand, the hip-hop legend is dating Aaron Johnson, 43, a professional in the tech industry. The couple reportedly met a year ago while attending a philanthropic event.
Lyte recently posted a photo on Instagram of them wearing 49ers gear along with the caption: “My boo, my love Super Bowl, let’s go!!”
She was previously married to Wyche for three years before they called it quits. MC Lyte got to keep her music catalog as part of their prenuptial agreement.
In a prior interview, the music superstar admitted she was “very distraught” after her short-lived marriage to Wyche ended in divorce in 2020.

Lyte and Wyche reportedly met in 2016 and tied the knot the following year.
“It’s hard in the beginning, but you realize to have happiness doesn’t mean you have to remain together, and it doesn’t mean that you are a failure because the marriage failed,” Lyte said during her 2022 appearance on “The Real.”
“It’s all ego. You just have to be able to let go,” she added.
As The Blast reports, in the court docs, the ex-couple’s marriage was dissolved due to “irreconcilable differences.”
“Irreconcilable differences have arisen between the parties, which have led to the irremediable breakdown of the marriage, making it impossible for the parties to live together as husband and wife,” the official documents read.
