*On Friday, M.I.A. blasted Beyonce, Adele, and Jay-Z for not putting proper respect on her name.
The British rapper signed with Jay’s Roc Nation management in 2012, and she left in 2014. M.I.A. (born Mathangi ‘Maya’ Arulpragasam) claims the “first thing” Hov told her to do during their initial meeting was “get plastic surgery.”
“I’m not insecure because I would have got plastic surgery,” she explained during the live stream. “So their argument of ‘Maya’s f*cking insecure, that’s why she needs to fucking massage her ego,’ fails. It fails because you turn around and ask … What women do you know who hasn’t had plastic surgery around you? All of them have. I’m the only one who didn’t, which already proves the fact it’s not insecurity.”
She continued, “Because it’s OK. Guess what? I’m 50, and I’m totally fine with the fact I am because, yeah, I f*cking took off when I was 30 … It took 10 more fucking years than any other fucker because I was the first and I was the new. I was making something interesting happen that wasn’t fucking happening before.”

M.I.A. called out Roc Nation earlier this year for not releasing her album “Mathangi” due to Jay-Z’s relationship with the controversial billionaire Bronfman family. M.I.A. shares 15-year-old son Ikhyd with Benjamin Bronfman.
“I sacrificed my career for my child,” M.I.A. wrote on X at the time.
“They ripped me off and copied my style and gave it to their puppets and shadowbanned me on every platform. But it was worth it to save him from the madness of what you know now,” she added.
M.I.A. also revealed that Roc Nation “stopped all communication with me and all my emails to jayz asking for help was wiped from my inbox.”
