Ellis and Senicar’s love story began in a serendipitous encounter at a Los Angeles bar in 2015, introduced by a mutual friend who would later officiate their wedding. The couple made their relationship Instagram official on October 30, 2015, with a photo from an amfAR fundraiser. Despite their public debut, Ellis and Senicar kept most of their romantic life private during the early years.
In 2017, Ellis hinted at his relationship during an interview on “The Breakfast Club” without mentioning Senicar by name, saying, “I am in a relationship. I’m in a very happy relationship, and that’s where I leave it. I don’t really worry about anything else, and that’s it.”
