N.W.A, Gladys Knight, and Donna Summer to Receive 2024 Grammy Lifetime Achievement Awards

*N.W.A, Gladys Knight, and Donna Summer are among the artists to receive Lifetime Achievement Awards during the 2024 Grammys ceremony next month. 

Per Variety, Laurie Anderson and Tammy Wynette will also be honored during the Special Merit Awards ceremony, along with longtime producer/manager Peter Asher, hip-hop pioneer DJ Kool Herc, and veteran attorney Joel Katz.

Meanwhile, we reported previously via CNN that nominations for the 2024 Grammy Awards were revealed in November, and SZA leads in total nominations with nine nods.

Other top nominees include Phoebe Bridgers, R&B star Victoria Monét, indie group boygenius, Miley Cyrus, Billie Eilish, and Olivia Rodrigo.

Taylor Swift made history by becoming the first to have seven nominations in the Song of the Year category with her hit “Anti-Hero.” The global superstar scored six nominations overall.
