*Netflix released the first trailer for “You People,” a film starring Jonah Hill and Eddie Murphy, who had previously surprised comedy fans when they announced they were coming together to star in a new Netflix movie.
The movie is directed and co-written by Kenya Barris (ABC’s “Black-ish”). The star-studded comedy marks the feature directorial debut of the TV titan.
In the unveiled trailer, Jonah Hill and Eddie Murphy have an awkward conversation. Hill plays a man who meets the girl of his dream at last. Lauren London plays the girl. But things quite don’t go as planned: the man has to deal with the girl’s awkward father, in the form of Murphy. The man has to introduce the girl’s father to his parents, who are awkward in their own way. The result is a really hilarious meeting where many difficult topics are discussed.
Apart from Jonah Hill and Eddie Murphy, other cast members include Sam Jay, Elliott Gould, Travis Bennett, Molly Gordon, Rhea Perlman, Deon Cole, Andrea Savage, Mike Epps, Emily Arlook, Alani La La Anthony, David Duchovny, Nia Long, and Bryan Greenberg with Julia Louis-Dreyfus.

When a rideshare mix-up in LA brings Ezra Cohen (Jonah Hill) and Amira Mohammed (Lauren London) together, the two find themselves connecting over a shared love of streetwear and music.
