*A TikToker has gone viral simply for being a pretty light-skinned girl who works at Home Depot.
Ariana Josephine (@ariijosephine) has been dubbed “Home Depot Girl” after posting a selfie pic on the job and captioning it: “The one job I work at that I get reminded I’m too pretty to work at.”
When the post “blew up,” Ariana told Distractify, “I was shocked because it was a joke.”
Her post even caught the attention of NBA icon Shaquille O’Neal.

According to the outlet, Shaq messaged her with advice about protecting her mental health amid her newfound internet fame.
“Don’t let them people bother you,” he wrote to Ariana, she revealed.
Ariana is based in Texas and has been working for Home Depot for three months ago as she works her way through college.
She told Distractify that “it was cool” to receive “inspirational words” from Shaq “because I actually wasn’t taking all the attention too well at that moment.”
“The good is appreciated,” she said of the public response to her Home Depot selfie. “But everyone negative just acts like they know me and my life. Or because I went viral they feel entitled to bash me or talk about me over things they made up or feel makes sense to them.”
