*Morris Chestnut appeared on “The Jennifer Hudson Show”  and made really funny confessions. Although people easily recognize him as a celeb when they meet him, they seem to mistake him for another celeb!

“People say, ‘yeah I loved you in ‘The Fast And Furious,’” the 54-year-old told his host, Hudson. That means they mistake him for actor and crooner, Tyrese, who is part of the acclaimed action franchise, Vibe reports.

“I can kinda see it,” replied Hudson, watching the photo of Chestnut and Tyrese. But that’s not all.

“Very recently, for the first couple of times, they thought I was Charlamagne. Charlamagne Tha God,” Chestnut continued.

“Wait a minute,” joked Hudson, then tried to squint at the men’s side-by-side photo from a different angle.

Chestnut has also been mistaken for Taye Diggs.

“I was in Starbucks one day and they said, ‘It’s so nice to meet you, Mr. Taye Diggs,’” Chestnut said, referring to another case of mistaken identity. He explained that the studio audience erupted in laughter. Chestnut then joked that he may be looking look “every bald-headed Black dude with a goatee.”

Before the topic got to his cases of mistaken identity, Chestnut discussed how he got to receiving his Hollywood Walk of Fame star. He said it was actually his mother who encouraged him to campaign for it. Once the plan succeeded, he paid her back by scheduling the unveiling ceremony on her birthday.

“This day is not possible without her,” Chestnut said on that day.
