*Ice Cube is threatening a lawsuit for anyone who uses AI (artificial intelligence) to recreate his voice.

“I don’t wanna hear an AI Drake song,” he said in a new interview with the Full Send podcast, Complex reports. “Yeah, I don’t wanna hear that bullshit. He should sue whoever made it.”

Most recently, Drake responded to AI rapping Ice Spice’s “Munch” in his voice.

“This the final straw, AI,” Drake wrote on his Instagram Story on (April 14), Yahoo reports. The message included a screenshot of a post from The Shade Room with a headline that read, “Universal Music asks streaming services to block AI companies from accessing their songs.”

Cube said if he finds himself in a similar situation he’s taking legal action.

“And I’mma sue the muthaf*cka who made it and the people and the platform who play it,” Cube said during the podcast interview.

“It’s like a sample, you know what I mean? Somebody can’t take your original voice and manipulate it without having to pay. I think A.I. is demonic [and] I think A.I. is going to get a backlash from organic people,” he continued.

Meanwhile, Timbaland was recently called out for using AI to generate a song with the late rapper Notorious BIG.

“I gotta share something I’ve been working on because I always wanted to do this and I never got a chance to,” he added. “I always wanted to work with Big and I never got a chance to… until today. It came out right!”

Legendary engineer Young Guru was quick to condemn the track, Complex reports.

“Timbaland, I love you my brother. You know I do. But this ain’t it,” he said on Instagram. “This is dangerous at a basic level and it’s corny. I will be on the side of the Luddites.”
