*Ice Cube is speaking out about his forthcoming new album “Man Down,” his first full-length solo project since 2018’s “Everythang’s Corrupt.”
“I’m working on an album that hopefully I can finish in next couple of weeks and schedule to put it out and yeah, I’m digging what I’m doing,” the rapper/actor explained on Chuck D’s RAPstation, All Hip Hop reports.
“The name of the record is called Man Down and, you know, it’s a pretty good record. It like it. It’s dope,” Cube added.
Ice Cube formed the supergroup Mount Westmore with fellow rap icons Too $hort, Snoop Dogg, and E-40, and they released their debut album last December. After parting with N.W.A. back in the day, Ice Cube released 10 solo albums.
As All Hip Hop reports, Cube will perform with Ja Rule and Ashanti in Los Angeles on September 29 as part of KDAY’s 40th anniversary celebration.

Meanwhile, we reported previously that Ice Cube clapped back at Elon Musk for trolling him on Twitter over the weekend.
Musk posted a meme poking fun at Ice Cube’s age. The post featured an image of the rapper/actor along with the caption: “Remember Ice Cube? This is him now, feel old yet?.”
Cube responded by posting a meme of the platform’s former bird logo and a burning dumpster on the other.
“Remember Twitter? This it now, feel stupid yet?” the “Friday” actor wrote in the caption.
On X (formally Twitter), one user commented under Ice Cube’s post, writing “To be fair Twitter is dead now. He must not know about ????.”
