*Deion Sanders recently filmed a video of himself riding shotgun on a joy ride in his son Shadeur‘s new Mercedes Maybach sedan, which has a starting price of $200,000.
The new University of Colorado quarterback will start this fall under the head coaching of his father, who took the top job after coaching HBCU Jackson State for the las three seasons, leading the Tigers to back-to-back SWAC championships in 2021 and 2022.
Shadeur’s pricey new vehicle comes as On3 reported in November that Shedeur’s promotional deals with Mercedes-Benz, Gatorade, Tom Brady’s clothing brand and Beats by Dre, among other businesses, nets him an NIL value of $1.3 million.
“It wasn’t like this when I was in college,” Deion said in the video after woo-hooing at the shock of it all.

According to clutchpoints.com, Shedeur and Deion Sanders will look to bring attention to Colorado football this season. The Buffaloes have not had a winning season in seven years and haven’t reached even five wins since 2019. Upon arrival, Sanders overhauled the program via the transfer portal, bringing in Shedeur and other players to try to turn things around quickly. Shedeur will be behind center this season.
Coach Prime will lead the nation’s No. 2 transfer class into a very difficult schedule with TCU, Oregon, USC, UCLA, Oregon State, and Utah among their opponents. Only the Bruins had fewer than 10 wins in 2022. Colorado football is picked to finish ninth in the Pac-12 by 247Sports.
