*Social Heat is all the way live. Things got emotional during the Season 10 reunions show of the cast of “Basketball Wives.” Brooke Bailey confronted Jackie Christie for being a fairweather friend during the period when her daughter Kayla Bailey passed away from a car accident. Brooke said during the heated sit down, “Can I please say something for a minute because my heart is pounding 100 miles a min because you sit here and say how great of a friend you’ve been to people, but I really feel like your not.” She added, “And the reason why is because when my daughter passed away you didn’t even send one flower. You been in #LA and you didn’t even come to knock on my door to give me a hug or just to sit next to me quietly. You showed absolutely no support.” Jackie answered back, “First of all I didn’t know what to say and I am so sorry. It wasn’t that I didn’t show support but I did call you.” She said, “I am glad we are having this conversation because I knew it would be a touchy situation when I saw you again because it hurt my heart when I heard about your daughter. I sat and I cried for hours, I have two daughters.” “I didn’t call you, but it hurt my heart that this happened to you. So much has happened with you and your husband.” Jackie said, “I sat in your house and talked to you for hours. So don’t sit here telling me that I am not a good friend ’cause that’s a lie.” She continued, “Brooke, I didn’t know what to say.” Brooke immediately shot back, “You didn’t have to say anything. Everybody was going through emotions.”
In the comment section, Jackie posted the following, “Really hope everyone stops spreading lies & hate about such a sensitive topic I’m truly disappointed the narrative is being spun in such a way to insinuate or say I Did Not call Her On the Very morning we all found out as I Said at the reunion I spoke to Tyler and sent my love prayers and condolences I was assured she would reach out when she felt up to it. I then texted & dm’d several times after and received back messages when the service came I don’t do well with them so I didn’t go and found out at the reunion my absence was missed and I apologized period. At this juncture I’m done Going back and forth we spoke and moved on at the Bbwla Reunion. ” posted Jackie Christie.” The grieving process is a delicate emotion and tough to navigate at times. Brooke Bailey took to her IG and further clarified her comments about Jackie Christie of being an unsupportive friend. “I know now we are not friends and we just have a business relationship and I’m okay with that.”
