Hee-larious! Shannon Sharpe Goes in on Deion Sanders’ Amputated Toes | WATCH

*Shannon Sharpe is known for speaking his mind, but he took it a notch higher when he recently visited his longtime friend Deion Sanders, the new Colorado Buffalos head coach, in Boulder. This was yet another edition of Shannon’s “Club Shay Shay” podcast. During the podcast, he noticed that his guest – the NFL legend — didn’t have two toes on his left foot. His surgically-repaired foot was being massaged by a therapist at the moment.

“Man, where the big toe!?” Shannon asked. “I thought you was magic or something! I thought you was just hiding it!”

Sanders’ toes were amputated back in the spring following complications after foot surgery. Although the jokes were insensitive, Sanders showed maturity by never getting angry, at least on camera. In fact, he couldn’t help laughing himself, as Sharpe continued to poke fun. Sharpe found it funny that Sanders wouldn’t be wearing sandals.

“So no more sandals — no flip-flops for you, huh?!?” Sharpe wondered loudly.

And for the benefit of the audience, Sharpe, who wasn’t through going in on Deion, added: “One thing about my homeboy, he’s going to be eight toes down for you!”

Hey, even the massage therapist could keep a straight face while working on Coach Prime. Nope, not while Shannon Sharpe was in comedian mode.

Jokes aside, the two Pro Football Hall of Famers still managed to have a super serious discussion about the missing toes and the cause. Sanders explained it wasn’t an easy experience. He said the foot has to be massaged 2-3 times in a day. Moreover, he takes multiple pills to help him endure the pain.

“I think it’s my new normal,” said the former Dallas Cowboys star.

The conversation went on to other matters, such as Deion’s departure from Jackson State, why things went wrong for the JSU Tigers in the championship game, and why it is necessary to shape men for other things apart from football.

Overall, it’s one of the best interviews you’ll likely ever experience. Yep, it’s that good. Watch it up top or below.
