*Comedian and “The Real” co-host Loni Love revealed her boo thang a few months ago; confirming in an social media post that actor James Welsh is her new man after months of rumors and speculation.
Now that she’s comfy cozy with Welsh, Loni admits she has also put on a few love pounds since falling in love.
According to OK! Magazine via MadameNoire, during Girl Chat on “The Real,” the co-hosts discussed a Reddit post from a woman who revealed that her fiancé put a weight gain clause in their prenup, which requires her to lose “any weight I gain” within a year after having a child.
Love slammed the prenup because men and women gain weight when they feel comfortable in a relationship.

“Right now I’m dealing with happy weight,” she told the audience and noted that Welsh has also put on a few pounds. “[I have to tell him] We gotta lose it, James!” she said.
Loni and James have been dating since last year but only recently made it official.
“I really like James,” co-host Adrienne Houghton said on the daytime talker.
“James is the White man that’s on Loni’s Instagram!” co-host Jeannie Mai added.
“The thing is we love James. We think James is the sweetest guy,” Houghton continued. “I’m having a hard time believing James ghosted you for two weeks in the beginning. This actually makes me reconsider things because he’s such a good guy.”
“So in 2019, James will come on the show and explain himself?” asked Houghton.
“Maybe,” Love said. “Maybe.”
Before she boo’ed up with James, Loni opened up about her weight-loss journey and shedding 30 pounds.
“I just want to say to people out there that are struggling, whether you’re trying to gain weight or you’re trying to lose it, take your time,” she said. “It is no quick fixes.”
