*TNT Sports and Unrivaled have revealed the lineup of analysts, reporters, and hosts for the inaugural season of the 3-on-3 women’s basketball league, starting January 17.
WNBA Champion and two-time league MVP Candace Parker, former WNBA All-Star Renee Montgomery, and host Lauren Jbara will lead the studio coverage, with occasional contributions from Olympic gold medalist Lisa Leslie. Game commentary will be provided by Brendan Glasheen, Lisa Leslie, and Sarah Kustok, along with reporters such as Taylor Rooks, Allie LaForce, Stephanie Ready, and Ros Gold-Onwude. Live coverage will be broadcast from Unrivaled’s Miami facilities across TNT, truTV, and Max.
“The additions of Candace, Renee, Lauren, and Leslie will jumpstart our exciting coverage with some of the best and biggest talent in the sport” said Craig Barry, Executive Vice President and Chief Content Officer, TNT Sports. “Their transcendent knowledge of the game and scope of experience are going to bring this new league to life in important and unexpected ways.”
Per the press release: Opening night will feature Napheesa Collier and the Lunar Owls Basketball Club facing Breanna Stewart and the Mist Basketball Club at 7 p.m. ET, followed by Angel Reese and the Rose Basketball Club taking on Reese’s former head coach Teresa Weatherspoon, Arike Ogunbowale and the Vinyl Basketball Club at 8 p.m. ET, with both games set to be televised live on TNT, truTV and streamed on Max.
