*Fast-food giant Taco Bell is venturing into skincare with the announcement of Mountain Dew Baja Blast under-eye patches during its Live Más LIVE gala on March 10.
“For the Baja Blast die-hard, infused with caffeine and a refreshing boost of citrus, these patches energize skin and deliver cooling hydration,” the brand said in a press release. Taco Bell has not disclosed additional ingredients or a release date for the patches.
The event, Live Más LIVE: A Night at the Palladium, also served as the platform to reveal more than 20 menu innovations for 2026. Highlights include the permanent return of Nacho Fries, Mountain Dew Baja Midnight™ Pie, Diablo Dusted Crispy Chicken Nuggets, the Crème Brulee Crunchwrap Slider, and inventive new items like Cheesy G Sliders.

Hosted by musical artist Vince Staples at the Hollywood Palladium, the gala combined fan celebrations, awards, comedic segments, and musical performances, each connected to a menu reveal. “This show is built specifically for the fans, and that’s what I appreciate the most about Taco Bell,” Staples said, per the news release. “We harnessed that fan energy on stage and turned it into a must-watch moment. I’m excited for everyone to catch it on Peacock.”
Celebrity appearances amplified the night, featuring Ariana Madix, Ashley Park, Benson Boone, Ciara Miller, Davante Adams, The Bella Twins, Finneas, DJ Pee .Wee (aka Anderson .Paak), Doja Cat, Fernando Mendoza, Myke Towers, Jason Sudeikis, Demi Lovato, Peso Pluma, Yeat, and more. The show streamed exclusively on Peacock, marking its first appearance on the platform and bringing Taco Bell’s innovation showcase to a nationwide audience.

Menu expansions included Flamin’ Hot® Nacho Fries, dusted nugget varieties such as Diablo Dusted, Doritos® Cool Ranch®, and Flamin’ Hot®, as well as Mountain Dew Baja Midnight™ Pie and the Crème Brulee Crunchwrap Slider. Taco Bell also introduced beverages like Mountain Dew Baja Midnight™ Zero, Strawberry Horchata Refresca, Cold Brew with Purple Horchata Cold Foam, and Salt & Straw® Tacolate Chiller.
Beyond food and drink, Taco Bell highlighted experiential items including the Fire Queso Sauce Packet, Queso Cracked Cantina Bowl, Firecracker Burrito, and of course the Mountain Dew® Baja Blast® Under Eye Patches, combining flavor, fun, and skincare into its 2026 vision.
