*Swizz Beatz has partnered with Brazilian jeweler Ara Vartanian on ARA x MR DEAN, a capsule of brooches, cufflinks, chain bracelets, necklaces, and two‑finger rings. The collection launched online May 8, rolling into Vartanian’s flagship and select boutiques later in the month.
Billed as “an exploration of structure, boldness and shared creative language,” the collection blends Swizz’s love of rubellites and emeralds with Vartanian’s sculptural designs, Hip Hop DX reports. Although the first drop is aimed at men, future releases are expected to arrive “without gender constraints.”
“Swizz has a very strong creative presence. From the beginning, he was fully involved , contributing ideas, references and artistic sensitivity,” Vartanian said of the collaboration. “It’s rare to find someone so committed to the process, someone who understands jewellery as language, as a cultural gesture.”
Meanwhile, Swizz recently confirmed the long‑awaited revival of Verzuz is coming to X (formerly Twitter). The Grammy‑winning producer launched the livestream battle series with Timbaland during the 2020 COVID lockdown. After striking a deal last summer to move the franchise to Elon Musk’s platform, Swizz posted on his Instagram Story “2025 Loading” alongside new Verzuz merch.
“We are beyond thrilled to have found the best partner for Verzuz,” Swizz said when the agreement with X was first announced.
