*STARZ has confirmed that season two of “The BMF Documentary: Blowing Money Fast” will debut on Friday, January 16. New episodes from the six-part season will be released weekly on Fridays through the STARZ app, as well as across all STARZ streaming and on-demand platforms. The upcoming season continues to examine the legacy of the Black Mafia Family with new revelations and expanded perspectives.
A major focus of the new season is Terry Flenory, who participates in his first exclusive interview for the series. Over the course of the episodes, the docuseries offers a closer look at his role within the organization and his partnership with his brother, Demetrius “Meech” Flenory. The season traces how ambition, growing mistrust, and increasing pressure from law enforcement ultimately fractured their bond.
According to the news release, “The BMF Documentary: Blowing Money Fast” chronicles the ascent and collapse of the Black Mafia Family, a criminal enterprise that grew from Detroit into a nationwide operation. The series explores how loyalty and shared vision helped fuel BMF’s rise, while internal conflicts and external threats contributed to its downfall. By revisiting pivotal moments, the documentary aims to shed light on the choices that shaped the organization’s trajectory and lasting influence.
Season two also expands on the cultural impact of BMF, examining how its notoriety extended beyond the streets and into popular consciousness. The docuseries contextualizes the brothers’ story within a broader narrative about power, consequence, and legacy. Through interviews and archival material, the season builds on themes introduced in the first installment.

The documentary is executive produced by Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, who is also behind the STARZ scripted series “BMF” and the “Power” Universe. Shan Nicholson serves as executive producer and showrunner, with additional executive producers including Razan Ghalayini, Richard Perello, and Stacey Offman. The series is produced by Jigsaw Productions and G-Unit Film & Television for STARZ.
