*Shannon Sharpe is on the brink of signing a new media deal reportedly worth over $100 million, according to Front Office Sports.
His current contract with Colin Cowherd’s The Volume podcast network has ended, and Sharpe is fielding multiple offers for what could be a record-setting agreement. The deal is expected to include all content under Sharpe’s Shay Shay Media brand, including Club Shay Shay, Nightcap, Club 520 Podcast, The Bubba Dub Show, and Humble Baddies.
Sharpe launched his media empire in 2023 after departing FS1’s “Undisputed,” where he made a name for himself opposite Skip Bayless. His move to The Volume, in partnership with iHeartPodcasts, gave him ownership and creative control over his content, allowing him to extend his influence beyond traditional sports commentary. His interview with Katt Williams has drawn an astounding 89 million views on YouTube, while Club Shay Shay has nearly 4 million subscribers.
In addition to his podcast success, Sharpe is a regular on ESPN’s First Take alongside Stephen A. Smith, further boosting his media profile. His evolution from a former NFL tight end to a major cultural figure has been marked by his distinctive voice, charisma, and a knack for viral moments.
In a post on X, FOS wrote, “Shannon Sharpe has received multiple offers and is expected to sign a deal that would exceed $100M, sources tell FOS. That would quadruple his career NFL earnings.”
