*A legal dispute involving “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Porsha Williams and her ex-husband Simon Guobadia has been dismissed, though the situation remains unresolved. A Georgia judge approved Simon’s request to drop the lawsuit he originally filed in 2024, pausing the case for now, TMZ reports.
The complaint centered on social media posts Williams made about erectile dysfunction. Simon alleged the posts suggested he was the subject, claiming they harmed his reputation and seeking damages. Williams denied those claims, maintaining the posts referred to another former partner and did not identify Simon.
Simon previously requested that the case be dismissed, explaining he could not attend court proceedings after being deported from the United States in 2025. Williams did not oppose dismissing the case but asked the court to require Simon to cover her legal expenses. That request was ultimately denied.
In granting the dismissal, the judge included a warning regarding any future legal action. If Simon decides to bring the case again, he could be required to pay Williams’ legal fees.

Simon has made clear that the dismissal does not end the dispute. “A dismissal without prejudice means I retain the full legal right to refile the same claims against Porsha Williams at a future date. No court has ruled that my claims were invalid or without merit,” he told TMZ.
He also addressed the outcome sought by Williams’ legal team. “This is fundamentally different from what Porsha Williams’ legal team was pushing for, a dismissal with prejudice, which would have permanently barred me from refiling and would have represented a definitive legal victory for her. That request was denied. So was her request for attorney’s fees. She did not walk away with the legal vindication her team was seeking.”
Indicating the matter may continue, Simon added, “I want to be clear that this matter is far from over. I am currently conferring with my legal team regarding whether to refile the case within the time limit granted by the court. Porsha Williams and her representatives should not mistake my voluntary dismissal for an abandonment of my legal rights or the merits of my claims.”
