In 2019, The Game lost his appeal against an earlier verdict in which he was ordered to pay Priscilla Rainey $7 million in damages.
We previously that Rainey won a $7 million judgment when the rapper failed to show up to court for hearings in 2015. In her lawsuit, she claimed The Game (born Jayceon Terrell Taylor) sexually harassed her during the taping of his reality TV show “She Got Game,” by forcibly reaching inside her dress to rub her butt and genitals in full view of others on set.
Per TMZ, Rainey claims Game was high on drugs when he reached inside her dress, to “forcefully rub her bare vagina and buttocks.”
The Game allegedly called her “a thirsty Gatorade mascot of a transvestite.”
The hip-hop star appealed the initial ruling in favor of Rainey, but the court affirmed the lower court’s ruling, slamming The Game for blowing off the trial by not showing up. The appeals court called his conduct towards Rainey “deeply reprehensible.”
Vibe reports that The Game reacted previously to the woman’s accusations, saying, “Don’t be fooled by these accusations or the dollar amount in the headlines cause I put that on my favorite aunties poodle this broad ain’t gettin sh*t! Every girl on that show will tell you I never touched this chick or ever desired to be anywhere near her.”
According to AllHipHop, private investigator Robert Sedillo Jr. recently informed a California court that he has served the rapper with several legal notices regarding the outstanding debt owed to Rainey.
According to Vibe, The Game might have to sell his house to settle his debt. He’s scheduled to appear in court for a decision on October 7.
