*Mary J. Blige is bringing more nights to Sin City. The Grammy-winning vocalist has announced 10 additional dates for her ongoing Las Vegas residency, doubling down on what was already a landmark moment in her career.
The expanded run kicks off August 28 at Park MGM and includes shows on Aug. 29, Sept. 2, 5 and 6, as well as Oct. 23, 24, 28, 30 and 31. Tickets for the new dates are available now through Ticketmaster, Billboard reports.
Blige launched “Mary J. Blige: My Life, My Story The Las Vegas Residency” on May 1 at Park MGM, marking her first-ever Sin City residency. The original run featured 10 scheduled dates before the expansion was announced.

From the start, the residency carried deep personal meaning for the R&B icon. “I’ve been so excited to announce this Vegas residency,” she said in an official statement. “Creating a show like this has been something I’ve always wanted to do.”
Blige framed the experience as something larger than a concert series, describing it as “a chance to get my fans together from all over – different cities, states, and countries – to experience something together,” adding that longtime supporters could expect surprises along the way.
During a sit-down with Robin Roberts on “Good Morning America,” Blige reflected on why this moment felt right. “It’s just time, you know? I’m where I’m supposed to be. I’m doing what I’m supposed to do. And I didn’t give up,” she said.
She also opened up about the emotional weight of performing certain songs live, singling out “My Life and “Not Gon’ Cry” as particularly powerful.
“‘Not Gon’ Cry’ is always heavy. Even ‘My Life’ is heavy,” she told Roberts. “When I perform any song from the My Life album, it’s heavy. Really dark times.”
