*Marlon Wayans is extending an olive branch to 50 Cent following their short-lived public disagreement, suggesting the rapper could appear in his next film project.
According to Complex, the comedian and actor discussed the possibility during a recent appearance on the We in Miami Podcast, demonstrating how quickly he moved past their conflict. The tension between the two entertainers ignited in early December when Wayans commented on Netflix’s “Sean Combs: The Reckoning,” a docuseries executive-produced by 50 Cent examining allegations against Sean “Diddy” Combs. Wayans expressed concern about potential spiritual ramifications of the project.
“You gotta be careful what you put out,” Wayans said in an interview at the time. “There’s a karma to every action.” He questioned whether the documentary prioritized accountability or served as payback, noting 50 Cent’s decades-long rivalry with Diddy that included diss tracks, business competition, and social media attacks. “It’s between him and Puff,” Wayans added. “It’s between both of them and God.”

However, Wayans quickly reconsidered his public stance after reflection and family input. During the podcast appearance, he described himself as a “workaholic” and joked about the conflict. “You ain’t never gonna read, ‘Marlon did dumb shit,’ aside beefing with 50 Cent,” he said.
“I was having a cigar and I was thinking about it. I was just like, ‘What example do I want? Is this an example of two black men with two businesses, fighting in public?’ It’s not good for my culture. That’s not the culture I wanna be an example of. I wanna build businesses. I [don’t] wanna burn them down,” Wayans continued.
“The bigger picture is, we’re two successful businessmen,” he said. “Bro, why are we beefing? … The whole way I got into it was because I was trying to stop two black men from going at it, right? You get caught up in the fight.”
When asked about potential collaboration with 50 Cent, Wayans revealed forward-thinking plans. “I’m already thinking about putting him in my next movie,” he said. “I got some action stuff I’m doing. I think he could be an incredible star. It’d be a great combination. I think it’d be fun to see us together.”
He envisioned a buddy action comedy pairing. “A buddy action comedy with me and this n***a,” he continued. “That’s how you tee it up, use it as a springboard to capitalize on something, man, and that’s what people wanna see.”
