“The Los Angeles Education Partnership is honored to collaborate with the U.S. Department of Agriculture on this important initiative,” stated Dr. Dawn A. Kurtz, CEO of LAEP. “For over four decades, LAEP has been transforming education for the community, with the community, from diapers to diplomas. This partnership allows us to further extend our reach and ensure that our families have access to essential resources.” Kurtz was recently appointed CEO in May 2024 to lead the renowned organization.
“Our communities deserve access to nutritious meals and snacks,” emphasized Nancy Villarreal, M.S., Director of Early Childhood & Family Engagement. “In these uncertain economic times, families may require additional support to promote well-being and healthy development and we would love to assist.” Nancy proudly serves as the direct contact for this amazing program. She is available if you have questions or seeking more information regarding services at (213) 622-5237.
